8 Trello Keyboard Shortcuts to learn today!

Trello continues to be a BIG world for a lot of people looking to organise their daily activity and projects, with Trello’s easy usage you can do anything with no stress. Sometimes there are a few ways to drop down the time you spend on the service and also speed up your process.

Here are the 8 Top Keyboard shortcuts to learn today!

1 — The Magic “C”

This is one of my favourite keyboard shortcuts, inside Trello — Archive means “done” for most of the users. This saves you that double button clikc onto the “Archive” button inside the card.

2 — The snappy edit “e”

This is another super handy one, simply hitting “e” will open up the quick edit of the card. This will save you time clicking save and exit.

3 — “ENTER!!!”

For those keyboard users, hitting ENTER will open up each of the cards to find more information like checklist, due dates, attachments and more.

4 — Use your Numbers “L” 1–9,0

5 — “N” — NEW CARD

Using “n” on the keyboard inside a list will allow you to give quick access to adding those Tasks or even those activities, project titles and more. Imagine coming in from a big meeting and being able to spam in all of those tasks.

6 — SPACE it!

Hitting space over a card will allow you to assign the card to you instantly, this is very powerful if you’re looking to really save some time in your Trello team board.

7 — Clear up!

Sometimes you forget that you have some Filters on, that only shows certain cards however using “x” on the page/board will clear all active filters. The reason this is useful is because you might start using the active filters and forget they are on, this might cause some issues, so make sure they are off when holistically overviewing.

8 — Assign to others fast!

Hitting “M” on the keyboard will bring up a list of members that you can assign the task/card too — this will super help if you’re looking to quickly assign all of the tasks within a list and save you valuable seconds.

If this helped, I have a lot more Trello based content, I’ve recently launched a new YouTube segment called “Trello Hacks”. This is a new opportunity to boost your Trello usage to “Trello Pro” user. Here’s how to subscribe to me, and here’s the episodes so far…
