AI-Based Productivity is Coming!

Here’s why in 5 years, 40% of your day will be machine based!

The evolution of AI-based productivity has been progressive over the last few years, but 3rd party applications have been slow off the mark due to many of the limitations and availability that open-source AI offers.

Now, the rise of AI-based productivity elements are on the rise.

I’m here to summarise some of the smaller features that I’ve seen in the last month in popular productivity tools in the current market.

🐣 Baby AI — 1% to 40%

As mentioned in the subtitle, I expect 40% of your work will be done for you, in terms of productivity admin by 2027.

Let me explain what this means.

Very simply, right now — we have baby AI. Small components of AI in tools, not running the ship per-say. These small components right now will begin to take control of maybe 1–2% of your activities in a day.

An example, notes being automatically organised for you inside of tools like Evernote (not yet available) is a 1–2% feature.
