Arc Browser: A First Look

A new browser with Google Chrome in its crosshairs

Arc invited kindly to test their new browser — after seeing this on Twitter, I was dying to get in there and experience what people were hyping about.

Arc Browser instantly appealed to me — the design, the look — wow! So I was eager to go deeper and download. If you wanted, you can check out the new YouTube video to see how I set-up and got started.

This is my first look and early access look — so make sure you take note that this is a very early preview of what they’ll release.

I wanted to focus in on three features that I adored in Arc Browser:

🌁 Full Screen

The one experience that really was strange was the full-screen view. You just are used to toolbars and things being in the way, with Arc — they disappear and the focus is on the screen and what is on it.
