This has been a noisy year for the world.
Not just due to the global pandemic, but a lot of noise is occurring in our daily lives. Noise in the media, noise in the news, noise at home and noise online — the world feels a difficult place to navigate in consumption and productivity.
For years, tools like list management have ruled the roost — Todoist, TickTick and Things 3 have all presented the perfect hubs for collecting and compiling, but in 2021, the focus will be on… focus — and we could well move away from what matters.

Very simply, a focus app is something that doesn’t destroy your existing experience with an app like a task manager, but assists.
It helps to clarify what’s important not replace anything you have already. A little bit like how the paper on your desk might work occasionally as a shortlist of what matters ahead, instead of a stressful delve into what needs to get done.
