🐌 Slow Load Times
Roam has historically been slow. This has been due to high server load, smaller team, and early development — all-natural problems of a start-up.
Most recently Roam announced a data loss — due to a huge influx in users — mainly due to a Thomas Frank video that overwhelmed the service.
As you can see by these recent tweets, it very much reached capacity.
📰 No New Users
All new users from tonight will now have to sign up to a waitlist and wait for an official Roam invite. This was announced by Conor White-Sullivan after seeking guidance from the Roam Cult and community.
📈 Surge in Use
