What are Slack Huddles?
A fairly new addition to the Salesforce/Slack team tool

Much like Discord, Slack have introduced an audio feature that allows you to chat outside of formal video calls or meetings — through the Slack too, much like you would after a meeting in the office.
Stewart Butterfield actually launched this back in July 2021 — however, more recently Slack’s new owners Salesforce (post-event) shared it to the world in a little more depth.
The new feature includes the new audio-captions features — allowing you to follow along with a Huddle without actually attending, keeping in touch with the conversation and when exactly to jump in without headphones.
Much like with Slack’s video stories, released back in 2020 — sometimes these features will be phased out, but the CEO of Slack firmly believes that the role of the feature is to make remote work feel more like office work.
This new feature will be available on all paid accounts, for guests and members according to Slack.
